Thomas’ Tidbits:
Well, yet again the crappie seemed to elude me this go around at good ol’ Prairie Lee. Not sure if I’m not holding my mouth right or what but this is the second trip this year where they have gotten the better of me. As fishing goes, you win some and lose a few.
Kind of a side note, but this ties in well with my trip. I want to give a huge shout out to the lady at 40 Woods Bait and Tackle. As usual, I walk in to get my 4 dozen minnows and this transaction went as they always do. When I opened my bait bucket upon arriving to the lake she had put a frozen water bottle in there to my surprise. That may not seem like a big deal to most but it was to me.
Keeping bait alive in the summer is a trick in itself. The fact she did that shows just another reason why 40 Woods has been around so long. I’ve always had good customer service there and this is just another example of why I always choose to go there.
Happy fishing and tight lines friends!!
